United Online over the last few weeks have been slowly letting their employees go.
Most of the high level executives are all ready leaving or pushed out and receiving decent severance packages.
United Online is keeping their heads above water with the classesusa flagship product.
Employees mentioned that, too much structure @ United Online, and it will be difficult to re-vamp classes usa to keep up with the web 20 market.
Facebook is taking their market share.

It has been confirmed that Adteractive has finally been acquired for slim to nothing.
The price was between 80-120 million.
Not too long ago, Adteractive was worth at it’s peak around 400-650 million.
Entrepreneurs should learn a lesson from this event, and realize if the opportunity arises, don’t be too greedy.

This is interesting.
Met the woman in charge of Operations @ Hulu.com on a flight recently.
She mentioned only good things about the company.
Then, this morning I wake up and find out that 2 senior executives @ Hulu.com have put their resumes out and are putting feelers out.
I know HULU.com pays great money to retain and attract talent, however, is the lack of being a true PRIVATELY held company not enough to keep these people?
Are companies like SiTv, Buzznet, Veoh and others strong enough to attract and pull these top executives? Time will tell, this is NOT a good time for HULU.com to be allocating resources to scaling. There is some big competition and traffic DOES not grow overnight.
Interesting

Rumor from multiple engineers at the company say Layoff’s are coming
I think it is about time, investing 200m+ in to Helio and outsourcing their tech team was not a good sign.

Site traffic is declining. Sorry Autobytel, the time has come for a new ceo and discuss strategy
Someone mentioned that they decided to cut the push out of launching a new spanish auto portal.
Although, MyRide.com is doing well from what I hear. Maybe that will hold them up.
